New York, August 29, 2005--- Congressman Ed Towns (D-NY) will host a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 6:30 p.m., at P.S. 21, Crispus Attucks School, 180 Chauncey Street at the corner of Patchen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233.
The Town Hall meeting will focus on postal, education, social security and crime related issues. Constituents are also free to ask questions about other matters.
Congressman Towns has invited George Baez, Brooklyn Postal Area Manager and Kamash Sookdeo, the 11233 Postal Station Manager to answer questions regarding the postal service levels in Bedford Stuyvesant. Other confirmed speakers are representatives from education, the social security administration, the 81st Precinct, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office and Community Board 3.
