WASHINGTON, D.C. - The public is invited to join U.S. Congressman Dan Boren in his first-ever telephone town hall meeting from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. CST on Thursday, May 17.

 

Join Oklahomans all across the northern portion of the Second Congressional District as they discuss local, state and national issues with Congressman Boren, who will be participating from the U.S. Capitol.  The call is free and allows callers the opportunity to submit their own questions as well as interact by answering questions via touchpad.

 

“Hearing from constituents helps me do my job,” Boren said.  “Although the congressional schedule doesn’t allow me to spend as much time in the Second District as I would like, this technology provides a way to talk about important issues with thousands of constituents at once.”
