WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Representative Dan Boren announced today a $57,975 USDA Rural Development grant for the City of Atoka. The Economic Impact Initiative Grant will be used for emergency first-responder equipment, including radio communication electronics, for the new police and EMS facility in Atoka.

 

“I am extremely pleased that we were able to secure funding for this project,” Boren said. “This funding will allow the Atoka to obtain critical emergency response equipment for their first-responders.”

 

“I am committed to investing funds in projects that will provide for the safety and protection of Atoka’s families and businesses,” Boren said. “These important tools will help emergency officials cut response times and provide better communication during incidents.”
