Congressional Delegation Trip to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait to be Featured in C-SPAN Documentary

Congressman Todd Platts (PA-19) recently participated in a bipartisan Congressional Delegation trip to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait where he visited with troops and received briefings from Iraqi, Afghan and American officials. The delegation was accompanied by C-SPAN Executive Producer for Special Projects Mark Farkas who filmed a documentary of the six-day trip and conducted interviews with delegation members, American soldiers and other officials.  

Video from the Kuwait/Iraq portion of this trip will premiere on C-SPAN television at 9 pm on Friday, February 10.  Video from the Afghanistan portion of the trip will premiere on C-SPAN television at 8 pm on Monday, February 13.  The Congressional delegation also included Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL-18) and Congressmen Steve Lynch (MA-9) and Jim Gerlach (PA-6).
