Washington, D.C. – Students from Adams, Cumberland and York Counties who are interested in applying for admission to one of the United States Service Academies are encouraged to attend an informational session hosted by Congressman Todd Platts from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20 at Red Land High School, 560 Fishing Creek Road, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania. Members of Congressman Platts’ staff will outline the process for applying for a Congressional Nomination for an Academy appointment. Information about the application process is available on Congressman Platts’ website at http://www.house.gov/platts/services/academy-top.shtml. Students may also receive information by calling one of the Congressman’s District Offices. Students in Adams County may call (717) 338-1919; students in Cumberland County may call (717) 249-0190; and students in York County may call (717) 600-1919. |
