Congressman Platts Schedules Career Awareness Day at Holy Spirit Hospital

What:  Congressman Todd Platts (PA-19) will spend the day at Holy Spirit Hospital learning more about heart services.  He will spend the morning in the cardiac catheterization lab at The Ortenzio Heart Center at Holy Spirit.  He will also meet with physicians, administrators and staff throughout the day to learn more about the health care services available locally to citizens of the 19th Congressional District and the challenges faced by healthcare providers.

When:   Friday, December 7, 2007

Format: Congressman Platts and hospital officials will provide brief comments and then answer questions.
 
Where: Holy Spirit Hospital, 503 North 21st Street, Camp Hill

Why: This is part of an ongoing series of “Career Awareness Days” that Congressman Platts established while serving in the Pennsylvania General Assembly and has continued during his tenure in the U.S. Congress. Through the “Career Awareness Days,” Congressman Platts is able to observe the problems, as well as share in the joys and frustrations of the various occupations of people in the 19th Congressional District.
