CONGRESSMAN COHEN QUESTIONS MONICA GOODLING ABOUT HER ROLE IN U.S. ATTORNEY FIRINGS AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT HIRING PRACTICES

Washington, DC -- Earlier today, Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, questioned Monica Goodling about her role in the U.S. Attorney firings and in Justice Department hiring practices. Ms. Goodling, the former Director of Public Affairs for the United States Department of Justice, read prepared remarks and denied any direct involvement in the U.S. Attorney Firings.
