| CONGRESSMAN HALL STATEMENT HONORING VETERANS’ DAY |
|
| WASHINGTON, D.C. ...On Veterans Day we pause to honor all those who have fought and sacrificed for our country throughout our Nation’s history – and all those who are fighting today. The freedom we enjoy is a result of their courage, their commitment, and their determination. Our Nation owes them a debt of gratitude and respect that is eternal.
As we reflect on past wars and the challenges those have posed for This year Congress is working to pass an appropriations bill that will improve and expand healthcare for veterans and help ensure that veterans’ hospitals and clinics provide the best possible service and care. We also are working to permit alternative healthcare treatment for those in geographically inaccessible areas and are working to increase benefits in education, housing, and retired pay. |
