| Marchant Meets with Local Bankers |

| Irving, TX – U.S. Congressman Kenny Marchant (TX–24) met with a group of local bankers during his August recess at his district office located in Irving. “The meeting with the local bankers was very productive,” said Marchant. “As a member of the Financial Services Committee, the opinions and concerns of the local bankers from my district bare a lot of weight.” Subjects brought to the table included the effects of the stimulus package, the Troubled Assets Relief Program, and financial regulatory reform. Marchant has been a member of the Financial Service Committee since the 110th Congress. The meeting with the local bankers was one of many roundtable discussions Marchant hosted over the August recess. ###
