Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson is pleased to announce that Humanities Texas has awarded $10,240 to Dallas-based literary organization the Writer’s Garret for “The Writers Studio,” an acclaimed radio series that provides an intimate look into the lives and work of writers of international prominence.
“Humanities Texas is an outstanding organization and I am so pleased they have awarded the Writer’s Garret with this grant,” said Congresswoman Johnson. “It is through the support of Humanities Texas that series such as ‘The Writers Studio’ are able to educate and benefit our communities.”
