CONGRESSWOMAN JOHNSON TO HOST CONSUMER SURVIVAL WORKSHOP

 

 
Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, a Senior Member of the Texas Congressional Delegation, will host a financial survival day workshop on February 9, 2008 in Dallas. North Texas area homeowners, students, parents, and all interested in learning more about important educational tips for the most common financial issues are welcome to attend. The workshop is free to all attendees.

"These classes are an extension of our efforts to protect borrowers from predatory lending practices, understand credit scoring and reports, and help prevent the rash of foreclosures that have plagued local homeowners," said Congresswoman Johnson.

Congresswoman Johnson will be joined by representatives from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service, including Spanish speaking, will be available for one-on-one personal counseling sessions and offer their expertise.
