(St. Thomas, VI, June 21, 2006) - Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen is pleased to announce that the Virgin Islands Law Enforcement Planning Commission (VILEPC) has received a grant in the amount of $18,750.

This grant will be used for the Fiscal Year 2006 Title V Incentive Grants for Delinquency Prevention Programs. This programs intention is to reduce risks and enhance protective factors to prevent at-risk youth from entering the juvenile justice systems and to intervene with first-time and non-serious offenders to keep them out of the juvenile justice system.
