(Washington, DC, November 22, 2006) — Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen is pleased to announce that the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works has received $297,000.00 from the United States Department of Transportation.

This funding will be used for the purchase of two replacement buses for the St. Thomas division of Public Works.  The purchase of these two replacement buses will allow for a higher quality of transportation service.
