A workshop called "Federal Jobs 101" is being presented by Neil, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Hawaii State Office of Community Services, on on Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
The work shop is being held for providers of employment services in the public and private sectors and will provide valuable information about the federal job application process. For-profit job placement service providers, state and city governmetn workforce development divisions, and not-for-profit social service agencies that provide job placement or employment counseling services are encouraged to attend.
The workshop will cover topics such as:
maximizing your search on the USAJobs Web site;
mastering the online application;
learning the importance of KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) int he federal jobs application process; and
writing a winning resume.
Registration is limited to employment service providers. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, August 26.
