| The Henry H. Kessler Foundation is a public charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with physical disabilities caused by stroke, multiple sclerosis, injuries to the brain and spinal cord, and other chronic conditions. Fudning would be used to modernize and improve the Kessler Foundation's Human Performance Movement Analysis Laboratory (HPMAL), which studies clinically relevant rehabilitation interventions that have the potential to improve functional mobility and prevent secondary complications associated with disability. HPMAL needs to update its equipment in order to remain one of the premiere research institutions in the country. In addition to helping thousands of civilians inflicted with stroke and spinal cord injuries, funding the HPMAL will help injured veterans reenter society. | |||
