Authorized under the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), this project benefits numerous businesses, nearly 300,000 city residents, and more than 1 million residents within a 20-mile radius in New Jersey. The Minish Park Riverfront Project will provide a new focal point and noteworthy amenity for downtown development activities, reconnect the City to its riverfront and the rich maritime and colonial history associated with it, and allow neighborhood residents direct access to the Passaic River, its beauty, and its recreational opportunities. It also will spur economic and neighborhood growth. |
