The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race will develop a model approach to improving parental involvement and achieving the racial achievement gap.The Aim High! Bridging the Gap program includes strategies to create a community of educators, students, parents, and others to study and institutionalize initiatives to ameliorate the gap and to improve the quality of our schools through parent advocacy and education, staff development, student engagement, and community involvement. |
