	City of Newark - Newark Regional Water System Security

	Amount Requested: $2,000,000
	The funding would be used for the Newark Regional Water System Security. Newark Regional Water System Securityis critical for demand equalization as well as emergency reserve & fire fighting. An unsecure Newark Watershed poses significant risks to not only the 281,402 residents of Newark, but also nearly 850,000 residents in the 23 communities through which the water pipes run to Newark.
