| The PAL TRY Program will provide the necessary support for at risk youth to help guide them to become productive citizens in the State of New Jersey. The program has served as a deterrent to juvenile crime for youth and offers positive alternatives. The East Orange PAL's afterschool project is designed to be part of an overall strategy to combat gang violence and provide productive activities for youth. These funds would help reduce gang violence at the street level, improving public safety and assisting anti-gang efforts in our communities, while also aiding in the efforts to keep our youth on the right track through education, athletic and cultural programs. | |||
