This project benefits all communities in Jersey City, particularly those residents in the North District. The purpose of this project is to continue the modernization of facilities for the Jersey City Police Department, providing greater efficiency, improved safety, better community relations, and a professional working environment. Allowing the Police department to perform their duties efficiently and thoroughly. The Department will upgrade their technology to interact not only with the public, but with other City, County, State, & Federal agencies to provide a coordinated response in the event of an emergency.
