| City of Orange Township - CCTV Camera Surveillance System Project | |||
| Amount Requested: $1,500,000 | |||
| Funds would be used for the purchase and installation of a Closed Circuit Television Camera (CCTV) Surveillance System to be deployed city-wide to prevent and manage crime. The Closed Circuit Television Camera Surveillance System Project is an additional tool for the Police Department’s use in fighting crime, and the fear of crime, while improving the quality of life for all Orange residents. This project includes the deployment of wireless controlled Police Observation Devices within the City to help ensure safety and security of the community. This “smart policing” technology will be installed to provide a safer community, more efficient response to public safety incidents and to generally enhance the Police Department’s crime prevention, suppression and investigative activities | |||
