Supports equipment procurement for the new 12-bed Columbia River Community Hospital in St. Helens. Funds would be used to purchase diagnostic imaging equipment, including a general x-ray machine, a CT scanner, an ultrasound machine, and radiology support equipment. Once completed, the hospital will employ 60 full-time equivalent staff persons and will provide service to Columbia County, the largest of the four Oregon counties that do not currently have a hospital. The Public Health Foundation of Columbia County is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Columbia River Community Hospital and the Columbia Health District, which will be the licensee for the new hospital.
