Supports a multiyear cooperative effort by landowners, wildlife management and wildlife damage control agencies, and researchers that seeks to address the problem of increased goose damage to agricultural crops in the Pacific Northwest. Funds would be used to implement the NW Oregon/SW Washington Canada Goose Depredation Control Plan, which includes research at Oregon State University, personnel to provide assistance to landowners, hunting season management designed to reduce depredation, goose population monitoring to evaluate success, and the enhancement of alternative goose foraging areas.
