Supports efforts to prevent new HIV infections, care for people affected and infected by HIV/AIDS, educate communities to eliminate stigma and shame, and advocate for immediate action in combating the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Funds will maintain HIV prevention and care services through Oregon by the Cascade AIDS Project, a nonprofit service organization. Funds would also be used to ensure a minimal set of targeted HIV prevention activities can be maintained among at-risk populations; to expand HIV counseling and testing services; and to ensure a maintained level of services in relation to housing, case management, and health.
