Supports the development and commercialization of new drugs, therapeutics, vaccines, and diagnostics to treat infectious diseases by a collaborative partnership between public and private institutions in the Oregon biosciences community.  Funds would be used to purchase major scientific equipment, including an Operetta High-Content Screening System and a Biacore T100 Protein Interaction Analysis System, which will expand the institute's scientific capabilities and further enable their fee-for-service revenue-generating model.
