Supports an interactive network of health care professionals that seeks to educate neurologists and other health care professionals about the complexity of multiple sclerosis; the nuances of diagnosis, treatment, and disease management; and the ongoing need for integrated comprehensive care. The project also works to provide patients with the best possible medical expertise and educational services regardless of where they live. In addition, the project collects and analyzes data from patients and physicians to better understand the disease for the purpose of educating health professionals and developing new treatments. Funds would be used to continue the Center's work, as well as to develop a research proposal on the association of depression and fatigue with physical disability for multiple sclerosis patients.
