Congressman Platts' Statement in Honor of Veterans Day

"As we commemorate Veterans Day this Friday, it's important for all Americans to recognize and express their gratitude for the heroic service of our fellow citizens who have worn the uniform of our Nation's armed forces.  But for the courageous service of these patriotic men and women throughout our nation's history, the unparalleled freedoms and blessings we enjoy as American citizens would not be.  May God watch over our veterans and their families, as well as those courageous Americans serving in uniform today throughout the world."
