Suspected terrorists who have been detained by U.S. armed forces on foreign soil should not have the same rights as American citizens. That’s why I supported an amendment to a spending bill that will prohibit Miranda Rights from being read to detainees.

This amendment passed by a voice vote and sends a clear message to the Obama Administration that those wanting to destroy our way of life will not be protected by Miranda Rights. It’s now up to the Senate to act.
