Videos featuring ACORN employees facilitating prostitution are outrageous and just the latest example of the organization’s abuse of taxpayer dollars. It is an insult to the American people that your hard-earned tax dollars are used to support this corrupt organization and all federal funding should end at once.

 

On September 17, I voted to cut all federal funding for ACORN. I also sent a letter to President Obama with 133 other House members asking him to use executive authority to terminate all funding to ACORN and its affiliates immediately. It is time to shut down this reckless and irresponsible group.
