We must proceed with caution as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) attempts to relax media ownership rules and regulations.  A House committee has launched an investigation into agency rulemaking procedures and management practices. The probe will determine if the FCC has been fair, open, efficient and transparent when crafting regulations.

The media plays such an important role in our society and we must ensure it remains a diverse and competitive marketplace.   I will follow this situation closely.
