Education is a journey that continues for a lifetime. With rising unemployment and approximately 28,000 Tennessee students dropping out of high school in the last year, adult education provides a second chance that so many people need. Many Tennesseans simply need basic skills to live up to their God-given potential. Building the right knowledge or skills can mean the difference between getting a job or not.
As the budget process begins, I will continue advocating for adult education funding.
