After three major hurricanes (Katrina, Rita and Ike), Bethel’s Place has become a stabilizer for Southwest Houston and surrounding areas. The organization has formed many partnerships to provide the much needed and appreciated resources and opportunities. Funding will be used to provide emergency food assistance and social services to families in the Houston and surrounding areas. Services such as weekly food delivery to home-bound clients and on-site emergency food pantry, rental and utilities assistance, gently-used clothing for the families are provided.
