Amount Requested: $260,000.00

The City of Stafford Emergency Operations Center is currently being used for training, disaster planning and recovery as well as conferencing with officials. Communication is key to recovery and continuity of government. Funding will be used to establish and install equipment improvements and upgrades that will benefit employees and citizens within our community and surrounding communities. It will also be used to purchase equipment for forensic evidence processing by the police department. Maintaining state of the art technology insures the ability to provide the necessary training needed for emergency services and planning, as well as rescue and recovery.
