Texas Children's Hospital is an internationally recognized full-care pediatric and maternal-fetal hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Texas Children’s Heart Center pioneered many of the now-standard procedures and therapies related to the diagnosis and treatment of children with cardiac problems. Its cardiologists and surgeons care for children with the most complex congenital heart conditions including ventricular anomalies and septal defects to Tetralogy of Fallot. To continue providing care to children in the greater Houston area and children across the country and globe, equipment and technology must be upgraded and replaced. This funding goes to Texas Children's Hospital for Cardiology Ultrasound Replacement as the equipment has reached its technological lifecycle and upgrade of such equipment must be done to adhere to the new standard of care.
