REP. NORM DICKS OPENS PORT ANGELES DISTRICT OFFICE
PORT ANGELES, WA – U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks has opened a Port Angeles area office where constituents can meet more regularly with the congressman’s staff and where he will be holding meetings when he is in the Clallam County area.
Located at 332 East 5th Street, the office will initially be open on Monday mornings and on Thursday afternoons for area residents seeking assistance from the congressman or from federal agencies. Rep. Dicks has also hired Mary Schuneman of Sequim to serve as his area representative, staffing the Port Angeles office. Schuneman has worked at a wide range of positions in non-profit organizations and in government, including the Labor Department, Immigration and Naturalization Service and on the White House staff.
In addition to helping constituents from the Port Angeles office, Schuneman will be attending area meetings and events regularly, serving as the congressman’s local point of contact.
“I believe it will be very helpful for me to have an established location where people in the Port Angeles area can come for information and assistance, and where I can conduct congressional business when I am on the Olympic Peninsula,” said Rep. Dicks.
The telephone number of the new office will be (360) 452-3370.
