Congress and the American people are currently immersed in the healthcare reform debate. It is critically important we get this healthcare reform done right and done responsibly. However, to say I have deep, serious concerns about the present direction of healthcare reform being discussed in the House would be a gross understatement and, in its current form, I will not support it.

Congressman LoBiondo bases his nomination selections on students' academic records, extra-curricular and community activities, test scores, as well as letters of recommendation from individuals in and out of the school environment. Finalists may be asked to appear before the Congressman's Academy Review Board.

• U. S. citizens
• legal residents of the 2nd Congressional District of New Jersey (or dependents of military members who are residents in the district)
• unmarried with no children
• between the ages of 17 and 23
