LUCAS HIRES AREA NATIVE TIM MILACEK FOR ENID CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Enid High school graduate and Waukomis native Tim Milacek has been hired by Congressman Frank Lucas to work as a field representative in his Enid office.
Milacek is the son of George and Louise Milacek of Waukomis. The Milaceks are teachers in the Enid School District.
Tim is a 1987 honors graduate of Enid High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University where he graduated in 1991.
Since May of 1991, Milacek has been employed as branch manager and field representative for the Collingwood Grain Elevators in Kansas.
"I'm delighted to bring a young man of Tim Milacek's caliber on board," Lucas said.
"Tim and I have similar backgrounds," he continued. "We pursued the same course of study at the same great University, and we started our careers working with people in retail business, which I think is great preparation for public service.
"I'm very comfortable that his experience and talent will serve him and the Sixth District well, and I'm proud to welcome him on our team"
Milacek will represent the congressman in the area including Garfield, Kingfisher, Blaine, Major, Alafalfa and Grant counties. He will start his new job on Monday, April 7.
