Each year during the federal appropriations process, communities, local companies, non-profit organizations, and other institutions throughout the Ninth Congressional District submit funding requests for projects and programs that promote economic development, infrastructure improvements, and critical health care research. Among the funding requests that I receive, I then submit the project requests which are applicable under the House Appropriations Committees guidelines.
