Congressman McDermott To Hold
Community Meetings

For Immediate Release - March 19, 2004

Congressman Jim McDermott (D-WA) today invited 7th Congressional District residents to attend one of two community meetings that he will host in early April.

“In the days and months ahead, the Congress will debate about dollars and sense-the dollars we will spend and our sense in spending them.

“My job is to represent the people of the 7th Congressional District, and listening to the opinions and concerns of my constituents about our national priorities is of vital importance to me,” McDermott said. “I urge everyone to attend.”

The schedule for the community meetings is:

Saturday, April 3rd, 2:30 - 4:00p.m.
Casey Family Program Center

   Sunday, April 4th, 2:30 - 4:00p.m.
   Southern Heights Elementary School
   11249 14th Avenue South, Seattle
