Statement Regarding NOAA Marine Operations Center – Pacific

“I am deeply disappointed by the announcement that NOAA plans to move its Seattle facility out of state when the current lease expires in 2011, and I am not ruling out launching a formal protest, depending upon a full review of the process and procedures that led to the decision.  Seattle has the home, history, people, available resources, and commitment to make it the logical choice for NOAA.”
