Your interactions with federal agencies are important. Please contact Congressman McDermott's District Office in Seattle if you require assistance.

Please do not send any requests via email.

According to the Privacy Act of 1974, it is required that you sign a Privacy Authorization Form [Adobe Reader®] to allow the Congressman to contact a federal agency on your behalf. Please print out and sign the Privacy Authorization Form and mail it along with a brief letter explaining your situation. Any additional information that may help the Congressman or his staff assist you should be sent along as well.

Please be aware that the congressman is unable to assist in the following circumstances:
• Intervention in any judicial process or pending legal action
    • Authorization of the release or transfer of incarcerated persons
    • Resolution of disputes with State or local agencies
    • And the forcing of a federal agency to take a particular action or promise a certain
      outcome, although the Congressman can offer guidance and assist you in
      presenting your concerns
