Congressman Mica spoke with students from Hinson Middle School about our American history and government and provided the students with a tour of the Capitol building.

Transportation and Infrastucture Committee Republican Leader, John Mica joined other Members in introducing the "Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act."
"This Bill represents a historic opportunity to make high speed rail and next generation rail service a reality in the United States," Mica said. "The bill also includes long needed reforms for Amtrak."
"The nation's highway and airspace are crippled by congestion and we're struggling through a growing energy crisis during which our fuel prices have dramatically increased daily. High speed rail can and must be an integral part of the solution to these critical transportation problems."
