IRS COMMISSION ANNOUNCES REQUEST TO PRIVATE SECTOR GROUPS FOR PUBLIC TESTIMONY

Washington, D.C. - The National Commission on Restructuring the Internal Revenue will hold a public meeting on April 17, 1997, to hear testimony from interested private sector groups. Anyone who wishes to testify should contact Lisa McHenry by March 20, 1997, with a written request to testify and a list of subject matters to be discussed. In addition, those testifying will be required to submit 150 copies of written testimony to the Commission by April 9, 1997.
