Baldwin, Pallone, Murphy Seek Stronger Veterinarian Workforce to Address Public Health Threats
WASHINGTON – Representatives Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Tim Murphy (R-PA) have introduced legislation that confronts public health threats by investing in the public health veterinary workforce.  The Veterinary Public Health Education and Workforce Act (H.R. 2999)creates new programs for training veterinarians and offers additional federal support for them to protect public health.  Full Release

Pallone Lauds House Foreign Operations Bill for its Commitment to Armenia & Military Parity
Washington, D.C. --- U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, released the following statement today commending the Fiscal Year 2010 Foreign Operations Appropriations bill for its commitment to Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh and military parity between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The bill was passed through the House Committee on Appropriations last night.  Full Release
