For construction of a sanitary sewer to service the Crossroads section of Old Bridge; connecting to the OBMUA system at Spring Valley Rd. This project, while creating 30 jobs, saves taxpayer dollars by eliminating the two sewage pump stations; maintenance, equipment replacement and energy costs cease. It provides sewer service to a large population currently relying upon septic systems, saving individuals money while minimizing potential environmental hazards. It also provides service to seniors, which includes COAH, approved affordable housing units. Service will create economic development, making the area more attractive to developers and businesses.

To slipline the North Avenue Trunk Sewer in order to avoid costly repairs and environmental incidents. Sliplining the North Avenue Trunk Sewer and other sections of the old sanitary sewer system will improve the environmental quality of the community and provide much needed jobs for the residents. The project will also save the municipality significant money that would otherwise be spent on costly sewer repairs but can now be used to maintain services to the citizens, keep police and firemen on the streets, purchase books for the library, and recreation programs for our children.
