Congresswoman Pelosi today joined members of the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (NCAPACD) at their Inaugural Convention in Washington, D.C. This Coalition was formed to create a national presence for Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders on a broad range of community and economic development issues. National CAPACD was founded by 17 community-based organizations from across the country, including San Francisco organizations: Asian Neighbrohood Design (AND); Chinatown Community Development Corporation; and Indochinese Housing Development Corporation.
