Pelosi Statement Following Bipartisan Meeting on Economic Stimulus

Washington, D.C. -- Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement after her bipartisan meeting with Democratic and Republican leaders on an economic stimulus bill:
“Bipartisan discussions regarding this stimulus package will continue and hope these conversations will bring us closer to passing a plan that is timely, targeted, and temporary.
“In light of the economic hardships felt by millions of Americans, it is essential that we make every effort to find common ground.”
