Pelosi Meets with Bay Area Deltas

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with members of the San Francisco chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority during the 20th Anniversary of ‘Delta Days on the Hill’. The San Francisco Deltas discussed their legislative agenda with Speaker Pelosi, prior to attending the portrait unveiling of the honorable Shirley Chisholm.
Speaker Pelosi met with the following Delta constituents: Leona Bridges, Tiffaney Chaplin, Angela Brown, Artricia Jenkins, Elicia Phillips, Regina Pridgeon, and Nadirah Stills.
“It was a honor to meet with my constituents, all distinguished members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Their legacy of political activism was evident during our meeting today as we discussed key issues relating to the future of our nation, including the impact of the economic recovery act.”
