Requesting a Tour
I am happy to be able to assist constituents in scheduling tours at several popular attractions. Please be sure to request your tours through this website, and to include your email address as that is our primary method of correspondence. Please check this website regularly for updates on tour information.
Tour Notification
Please give our office enough time to book all of your tours -- we kindly request that you hold all follow-up calls until three weeks prior to your requested tour date.
Tour Availability
Many tours in Washington DC require advance notice of 1-6 months and due to high demand fill up very quickly. While our office can assist you in acquiring tickets we cannot guarantee their availability.
Security Information
If you are interested in a White House or Pentagon tour please note that you will be prompted to provide security information required by those locations for our office to submit a tour request. This is mandatory for us to begin the process of scheduling a tour for one of those two sites.
The White House will require the name and date of birth for everyone on the tour. For those 12 years of age or older guests Social Security Number is also needed.
Please also be aware that on September 4, 2009, President Obama announced that visitor access records to the White House Complex will be made publicly available 90 - 120 days after the date of visit. This policy includes all guests touring the White House. Should you tour the White House, your full name and the date of your visit will be part of the publicly released records. Your date of birth, Social Security Number, and all other information provided will not be released.
The Pentagon will require the name, date of birth and the city and state of birth.
Self-Scheduled Tours
Keep in mind that most tour locations are open to the public and there are still opportunities to take the same tours without scheduling them through my office.
Our office can help school groups attain tickets in
Washington DC as well as the United States Capitol. Please give our
office as much advanced notice as possible to accommodate your school group.
