Pitts announces upcoming grant-writing workshops
Washington
—Upcoming grant writing workshops will equip constituents and local
organizations with the tools they need to secure federal grants,
Congressman Joe Pitts
(R, PA-16) said today. The
workshops are sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban
Development’s Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.
“These workshops are
helpful in learning which programs exist and how to fill out the paperwork
federal agencies expect from grant applicants.
I urge any constituent who writes grants for local governments or
organizations as well as any community group looking to secure federal
support of its programs to attend one of these workshops,” said
Congressman Pitts.
